This
was done in 1969 during the height of psychedelia. I call it "1969".
I was 16 years old and very impressed by the "consciousness expanding" qualities
of the psychedelic music and drug culture of the times.
I did this on 12 x 18 paper with pen and ink and colored pencils modeled after posters
and albums I liked. I did it just because it turned me on to draw. It was also my first real
encouragement to be artistic because people liked it so much - and boy I was hungry
for acceptance! The print of this is really awesome!

It now seems so interesting that with all that encouragement I did not pursue art but
went off on spiritual questing at age 18 and did not resume any artistic efforts until
1989 when I was 37 years old!
